We’ve developed two course packages tailored to different skill levels and business objectives, giving you the flexibility to choose the one(s) that best align with your staff’s capabilities and the needs of your business.
Simplified Course Summary
A two-day course. Learn to create QGIS projects from scratch and collect data in the field using QFIELD.
A one-week course. Building on the fundamentals of the previous course. Focus on specific geology tools. Equip staff with tools to be confident and self-sufficient GIS users.
An additional week in-field trial to help develop a fully customized QGIS and QFIELD project tailored to the needs of your exploration site.
Basic to Intermediate
This is a two-day course that is designed to give your staff everything they need to create their own QGIS projects from scratch and start collecting data in the field using QFIELD.
One of our staff members will make the journey to your site of operations or office headquarters for the in-person course.
Advanced Course
The goal of this one-week course is to build on the fundamentals while also equipping your staff with the tools needed for independent exploration. This will enable them to solve future challenges on their own, without the need for continuous, costly consulting services.
Our teaching will be focused on geology specific tools that will enable data collection to be more precise and relevant to the geology of your exploration site. To support this, we offer an additional in-field trial period of up to one week, during which we will assist in the development of a fully customized QGIS and QFIELD project tailored to the specific needs of your exploration site. This hands-on experience will also provide your staff with the skills and practical knowledge required to become proficient and independent GIS users.

Important Details
- The Advanced course can be combined with the Basic+Intermediate course if required.
- We design these courses to be given in person. Our hands-on teaching approach ensures that our clients leave with more than just a theoretical understanding, as is common in many online tutorials or video-only based courses.
